Several tiny radial sprays of cacoxenite crystals occur on this specimen. The matrix is hematite and drusy quartz. Although several of the sprays of cacoxenite crystals are damaged, some are in excellent shape, especially those found in the vugs in the matrix of this specimen. This piece is a delight to examine under a loupe.

The hematite matrix of this specimen is host to scores of tiny radial clusters of cacoxenite crystals. These crystals range from a yellowish-orange to a red in color. A loupe is necessary to appreciate this specimen. There is only minor damage to this piece.
