This specimen is mostly chlorargyrite, in two different forms. The color is due to weathered amorphous chlorargyrite, with a classic maroon-brown color. The specimen does sparkle in many places, and a loupe reveals that this is caused by well-formed pearly-gray cubes of chlorargyrite crystals, and more distorted and intergrown crystals may comprise the bulk of the specimen.
