$ 60.00
Dims: 2.2 x 1.4 x 1.3" (5.5 x 3.6 x 3.3 cm)
Wt: 7.0 oz. (199 g)
Dolni Bory, Czech Republic
This massive hand specimen consists entirely of Lollingite. Though it appears to be completely massive upon first glance, one can pick out some evidence of definite orthorhombic form in a few spots with close examination. However, almost all of its surface is rough and uneven, showing a somewhat bright, silvery-gray color and metallic luster. There is no base or host rock present.

Dims: 4.4 x 2.5 x 1.7" (11.0 x 6.4 x 4.3 cm)
Wt: 1 lb., 0.4 oz. (464 g)
Lolling, near Huttenburg, Carinthia, Austria
Several sheets of compact, foliated Lollingite "blades" rest on the pale brown, calcareous base of this cabinet piece. The material shows evidence of crystal form, but no individual crystals are present. There is considerable damage to the formations, but none of this appears to be fresh. The Lollingite has the standard pale silvery-gray color and bright metallic luster of its specie. The calcareous base shows some crystalline tendencies, but like the Lollingite, no definite crystals are present. This piece comes from the type locality for the specie.
