This single Blodite crystal is in excellent condition, showing no fresh damage, and has an excellent and somewhat complex monoclinic form that is nearly tabular. Its luster is somewhat dull and pearly, and it is colorless. The crystal is transparent, but this is marred by many dark, cloudy inclusions. There is no base or host rock of any kind present.
