At least 4 tiny Osumilite crystals rest on the rhyolite base of this small thumbnail specimen. These crystals do not exceed 1 mm in either thickness or diameter and appear to be in excellent condition, showing no damage. All have excellent hexagonal tabular form with large flat terminations and are black in color and vitreous in luster. They appear to be completely opaque. The piece is hot-glued into a plastic thumbnail box.
