This single Leucite crystal is in excellent condition, showing almost no damage, and has excellent trapezohedral form. Its color is a dull yellow-gray and its luster is nearly matte. It is dimly translucent and contains many internal fractures. A few bits of a black crystal that I cannot identify are embedded in it, and no base or host rock is present.

This thumbnail piece consists of a single Leucite crystal that is in very good condition, showing no fresh damage. It is rather weathered, but shows excellent trapezohedral form. It has a creamy white color that is standard for its specie, but the weathering has given it a matte luster. Apparently, a few incomplete or deeply embedded melanites accompany the Leucite. The piece is affixed inside a plastic thumbnail box.
