Small sheaves (to 0.1", 0.3cm) of meta-autunite crystals cover the face of this thumbnail specimen. The crystals appear somewhat weathered, and are of a dull, greenish-yellow color. On the underside of the specimen, the crystals are a bright yellow, and there is a small amount of host material present. Two of the sheaves of crystals show some abrasion damage. All in all, this is an interesting specimen from an unusual locality.

This is a very nice display specimen of meta-autunite. A white albite base supports a dense cluster of small brown mica crystals, and scattered on both are fine yellow crystals of meta-autunite. These crystals are flat squares, often distorted and often stacked in layers. There are some tiny perfect squares. They are translucent, their color is yellow tinged with green, and they have a pearly luster. There is another black mineral present, it looks like small stalactites of goethite.
