Scores of tiny Microlite crystals are scattered on the calcite base of this thumbnail piece. These crystals do not exceed 1 mm in diameter, and some of them are nearly microscopic in size. All appear to be in excellent condition and have very good isometric octahedral form. Their color is a pale brown with a hint of red, their luster is vitreous, and all are transparent and quite clear.

The albite base of this cabinet specimen holds hundreds of tiny Microlite crystals. These crystals are generally in excellent condition, but do not exceed 1 mm in length or diameter. Their octahedral form is very good, showing only slight rounding of corners. All have a deep rusty-brown color and a vitreous luster, and are transparent and quite clear. A small amount of muscovite is present.
