# IRO-53, $90.00 50% Discount - Sale Price $45.00
Dims: 2.36x1.79x0.45in (6.00x4.55x1.15cm) .... Wt: 3.07oz (87.0g) .... Loc: Sikhote-Alin, Russia
Another example of Sikhote-Alin meteorite shrapnel, this specimen appears to have been treated with a rust inhibitor (likely phosphoric acid). It is in excellent shape, and looks like one expects an iron meteorite to look. The front surface is covered by a large number of nearly parallel lines which add visual interest.
# IRO-52, $45.00 Sold!
Dims: 2.29x1.11x0.55in (5.82x2.81x1.40cm) .... Wt: 2.40oz (67.8g) .... Loc: Sikhote-Alin, Russia
I can imagine that this piece of Sikhote-Alin shrapnel got much of its shape as it sliced through the air after being blasted off of the source meteor.
# IRO-51, $25.00 Sold!
Dims: 1.14x1.18x0.50in (2.89x3.00x1.26cm) .... Wt: 0.47oz (13.3g) .... Loc: Sikhote-Alin, Russia
This shapely piece of meteoric shrapnel is small enough to have slowed quickly, preserving the contorted shape it received when its parent meteor blew apart.
# IRO-49, $65.00 Sold!
Dims: 1.88x1.68x0.94in (4.77x4.26x2.38cm) .... Wt: 3.8oz (107g) .... Loc: Sikhote-Alin, Russia
This iron meteorite is from the Sikhote-Alin strewn field. A piece of shrapnel, it shows signs of its fiery passage through the Earth's atmosphere.
